Delegate Commitment to Respect & Inclusion

At Quantum Days, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees. We believe that diversity of thought, background, and experiences enhances the quality of our conference and the solutions we collectively create.

When you register for the conference, you agree to abide by the following principles:

  1. Respect and Inclusivity:
    • Treat all participants with respect, courtesy, and kindness, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or any other personal characteristics.
    • Foster an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and welcomed, and where diverse perspectives are celebrated.
  2. Professionalism:
    • Maintain a professional demeanour in all interactions, discussions, and content sharing within the virtual platforms.
    • Refrain from engaging in any behaviour that may be considered offensive, harassing, or disruptive to others.
    • We require that every participant represent themselves by the full name that they use for their professional work.
  3. Constructive Communication:
    • Use constructive and positive language in discussions, comments, and questions during live sessions, chat rooms and forums.
    • Avoid personal attacks, trolling, and disruptive behaviours that hinder productive conversations.
  4. Privacy and Consent:
    • Respect the privacy of other participants and refrain from sharing their personal information without explicit consent.
    • Obtain permission before recording, screenshotting, or sharing any part of the event content or discussions.
  5. Compliance Enforcement:
    • The event organizers reserve the right to enforce this Code of Conduct and take appropriate action, which may include but is not limited to, a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the event.

Serious incidents may be referred to the Quantum Days Organizing Committee for further possible action. If you witness or experience harassment or discriminatory behaviour during Quantum Days, we encourage you to intervene if it is safe to do so, and/or to reach out to members of our  Program & Organizing Committees or contact info@quantumdays.ca
